Get inspired with plein air, a casual get together for sketching and painting in the fresh air sponsored by the Mattawoman Creek Art Center. We’ll meet the last Saturday of each month, March-November, weather permitting, at picturesque and historic sites around southern Maryland. Grab your art supplies, a folding chair, and a bag lunch. Independent painting will be followed by sharing with positive feedback and critique. The March location at Friendship Farm Park features a scenic barn and four miles of shoreline along Nanjemoy Creek.

10 am - noon with critique starting at noon.

Meet at the second parking area on right side of Friendship Landing Road. This location does not have restrooms.
