Accokeek Artists Alliance is a group of visual artists, sculptors, poets, musicians and writers formed with the mission to promote the arts in Accokeek, Maryland. We have unique styles and mediums but are united in using art and the creative process to share our thoughts and ideas to deepen the art experience and build community.

What do member dues support?

Member dues are used to pay for activities that support our mission. They enable AAA to offer free and low-cost events to members through underwriting workshop materials; paying honoraria for some presenters and teachers; and providing snacks and beverages at meetings. Hosting our website also has a significant cost, as do fees related to advertising, communication and improving the spaces where we hold events. Finally, we foster support of the arts community by donating to local organizations.

Underpinning all of this is the work done by and donations from members, particularly those on the steering committee, on a volunteer basis. Like many arts groups, AAA relies heavily on you, our members, and we appreciate your involvement and support!
