Get closer to nature and capture scenes that are easily overlooked this fall at the nature journaling workshop in scenic Piscataway Park.

Local artists Lona Powell and Frances Taylor will guide you on a series of fun exercises exploring and recording nature that anyone can enjoy. This is a good introduction to a potential lifelong hobby. A multimedia sketchbook and fine liner will be provided.
The workshop fee is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing and bring a lightweight folding chair if you like.
We will meet in the large parking lot close to the Accokeek Creek Boardwalk at 2687 Bryan Point Road (on Google Maps). Here’s how to find it: Across from 2800 Bryan Point Road, turn at the “Piscataway Park Accokeek Creek” sign and proceed to the end of the gravel drive to the parking lot.
