Create your own painting at the upcoming AAA Painting with Cold Wax workshop Saturday, April 19th
Fresh off a successful solo show at the Mattawoman Creek Art Center (80 percent of his paintings sold!), AAA member Daniel Wise has offered to share what he has learned about painting with cold wax. The workshop will be held at the Wagner Center, 2311 Bryan Point Road, on Saturday, April 19, from 10 am – 1 pm. Daniel will demonstrate the technique, and then will coach artists as they work on a 12 x 12 panel. You will end up with your own masterpiece!
Attendees will be provided with the wax and a 12 x 12 panel on which to paint. They are asked to bring
a photo they would like to paint;
the acrylic paints they wish to use;
palette knives;

a glass squeegee.
These last four items are available at discount stores. They also can bring gloves if they want, and a lunch/snack and beverages since the workshop will continue through the lunch period.
